IT corporation Microsoft has bought the developer of technologies for information security (IB) Hexadite for $ 100 million. This is another acquisition of an Israeli company by the American software giant.

On the sale of Hexadite company Microsoft reported Israeli website financial news Calcalist. It referred news agency "Reuters". Microsoft refused to comment on requests for publications.

Founded in 2014, Hexadite offers technologies that provide automatic response to cyber attacks. The company claims that its solutions increase the productivity of IT systems and reduce company costs.

According to Microsoft, in Israel there are about 450 startups in the field of cybersecurity, which account for 20% of global investment in the IS market. Over the past three years, Microsoft has bought at least three Israeli IS-companies: Aorato (the developer of corporate solutions for cybersecurity), Adallom (cloud technologies) and Secure Islands (its development in the field of data protection is integrated with the cloud-based Azure Information Protection service). The financial terms of these transactions were not disclosed.
