Nokia and Apple settled the dispute over patent infringement and entered into a cooperation agreement. This is stated in the official press release of the Finnish company.

It follows from the document that Nokia will provide Apple with several products and services for network infrastructure. At the same time, companies will jointly seek opportunities for cooperation in the production of electronic products for health.

Details and amount of the transaction are not yet reported.

December 22, 2016 it became known that Nokia filed lawsuits against Apple in several ships of Germany and the United States. The Finnish manufacturer accused the American corporation of infringement of patent rights.

"Thanks to our continued investment in research and development, Nokia has created and contributed to the creation of many technologies that are used in modern mobile devices, including Apple products," said Ilkka Rahnasto, head of the patent work department at Nokia.

Apple, in turn, accused the Finnish company of collusion with the "patent trolls". According to the representative of Apple, Nokia refused to grant licenses for their patents on an equitable basis, and now they are trying to extort money from Apple.
