The Chinese company Spreadtrum Communications, which designs microchips for mobile devices, believes that Samsung in the future can release high-end smartphones running Tizen.

Currently, hardware solutions Spreadtrum are used in such Tizen-smartphones Samsung, as Z1, Z2 and Z3. However, these devices can not boast of outstanding technical characteristics.

At the same time, Spreadtrum says that the company intends to develop partnership relations with a South Korean manufacturer. The result of this cooperation is expected to be the emergence of powerful Tizen-smartphones.

Observers say that Samsung theoretically can take advantage of a fairly efficient processor Spreadtrum SC9861G-IA, which is manufactured using 14-nanometer technology based on the Intel Airmont architecture. This 64-bit chip contains eight cores with a clock speed up to 2.0 GHz, a graphics controller PowerVR GT7200 and a cellular modem LTE Category 7. Supports cameras with a resolution of up to 26 million pixels and displays in the format WQXGA (2560 ? 1600 pixels).

Samsung does not comment on the situation.
