The version of the Windows operating system, adapted to devices with ARM-processors, will be able to run any "classic" programs created for the win32 / x86 architecture (AMD and Intel). As explained in the video posted on the Microsoft-owned Channel 9 website, applications will run almost without delay, and developers will not have to make changes to the code.
"Omnivorous" Windows 10 for ARM will be very different from Windows RT, which was originally created for ARM-chips and could only run software written for this architecture. The experience of using the ARM version of the "axis" will not differ much from Windows 10 on the device with x86 / 64: users can download from the Windows Store or Web store any programs without thinking about compatibility.
In Microsoft promise that the built-in OS emulator provides the work of programs "practically" at native speeds. Of course, such "heavyweights", like Adobe Photoshop or Premiere, will run slower, but users will hardly notice the difference.
ARM-version of Windows 10 has good chances to move Android and iOS in the mobile market. The first devices (they can be, for example, thin and light tablets that can run any applications) with chips Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 are expected by the end of this year.
