Amazon officially introduced the "smart" speaker system Echo Show, equipped with a touch screen. Information about this device leaked to the network the day before.

The novelty is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen, thanks to which the capabilities of the voice assistant Alexa significantly expand. Now users can ask a question about their schedule and see the response on the screen. They can view the weather forecast, broadcast from YouTube or specify the time, if you do not want to ask about this voice assistant Alexa.

The latter, by the way, works like Siri. To turn on the "smart" column you need to loudly say the awakening word Alexa (the word can be changed), then the device turns on and starts working. The AU can reproduce music, order a taxi, talk about traffic jams, read the latest news and t. At the bottom of the gadget is a speaker, and on top is a built-in camera, through which users can call video calls and even take pictures.

With the built-in Echo Show camera, you can not only make free video calls to other users of the device, but also use the gadget as a device for remote monitoring of the child. In addition to the touchscreen and camera Echo Show boasts 8 built-in microphones for receiving voice from the far end of the room.

Amazon opened pre-orders for the Echo Show at a price of $ 229.99. The speaker is offered in two colors. Shipment of columns on advance orders will begin on June 28.
