American Carter Wilkerson (Carter Wilkerson) on Tuesday, May 9, broke the Twitter record, gaining the maximum number of retets in the history of social networks - 3434902 for a little more than a month.

Thus, he overtook the previous record holder, TV presenter Ellen Degeneres, who published in March 2014 a selfie with Hollywood actors at the Oscars. Her tweet today boasts 3,430,349 reposts, which is 3577 reposts less than Wilkerson's.

April 7 this year, Wilkerson asked in his Twitter account the issue of the American fast food network Wendy's, how many retwits he needs to collect in order to get an annual supply of chicken.

Representatives of the company responded "18 million", after which he published a screen of this message and asked the subscriber: "Help me, please. A man needs nuggets ". His fixed tweet began to actively pick up likes and repots, and many indifferent users of social networks wrote in their accounts: "I do not know what kind of guy he is, but he needs our help".
