The corporate segment is increasingly choosing Apple Watch as a liaison between employees, said Apple's Chief Financial Officer. Luca Maestri. So, he noted, Capital One bought a whole batch of watches in order to increase the productivity of its subordinates. Apple Watch has been successfully applied in many areas of the company, saving employees time and helping them to keep their hands on the pulse.

According to Business Insider, Capital One really went on this very unusual step for the corporate segment, providing several hundred of its subordinates with a personal copy of Apple Watch. The clock acts as a personal secretary, allowing employees to request help from colleagues from other departments, to make changes to the work schedule and receive instructions sent out during the day by management.

Another important feature of corporate Apple Watch, successfully applied in Capital One, is the ability to remotely order coffee without having to queue. Employees simply make a request, after which the system identifies them and sends the team to employees of the local cafeteria.

"Previously, to drink coffee, employees had to stand in a lively queue, wasting time, which they could devote to their own development," the press service of Capital One.

Does this mean that the Apple Watch is an indispensable assistant and should everyone have that value their time? Of course no. They, rather, can be useful in situations where the use of alternatives is impossible for one reason or another. For example, watches look much more preferable and convenient variant of communication between employees of the service sector or financiers, in some cases replacing even a tablet or a personal computer.
