The Polish network of postal machines InPost stopped working in Ukraine. The official reason for the closure is the hopelessness of the Ukrainian market for growth. Experts of the logistics services market believe that the business model of InPost work turned out to be non-working.

InPost, which were located in crowded places near the metro, near the shopping mall and supermarkets, was removed, the site of the company's branch in Ukraine does not work.

On the termination of InPost in Ukraine said in a message to the parent company Integer. Pl S. On the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The reason for the termination of work indicated the lack of prospects for the growth of the company and an increase in the number of postdoms in the Ukrainian market. In Ukraine, the company worked through subsidiaries Postha 24 LLC and Integer Ukraine LLC.

The report said that the total costs associated with the termination of operations in Ukraine and Malaysia, may be EUR 1.4 million (6 million zl).

InPost entered the Ukrainian market in 2013 and cooperated with Lamoda. Ua, Oriflame and Avon. The volume of investments to enter Ukraine amounted to UAH 5 million. On this money for three years the company installed 40 postmates in Kiev.

According to Sergei Grachev, CEO of In-Time Company, the company chose the wrong model of work in Ukraine - to open one of the POS, load it and open the next one. This strategy did not work.

The general director of "Deliveri" Elena Lakatosh among the possible reasons called the non-acceptance of the service of postdoms by the Ukrainian consumer. "For our people, it was too innovative and risky," commented Lakatos. The second reason, according to Lakatosh, is the unwillingness of the main logistics operators to give their flow to the postal machines. The main players are considering the development of their own networks of postmates.

In Ukraine, the largest network of postal administrations is owned by PrivatBank. In their branches there are 1450 postmates, parcels in them deliver all the leading delivery services.

According to Vitaly Yanitsky, CEO of GoLab, a former owner of the logistics group PGK, InPost attracted investments to expand geography and create its global delivery service, and its business-forming clients were companies from the MLM segment. "The format worked in Poland, and in other markets it was an erroneous concept.

The way out of Russia and Ukraine has become a logical end to this strategy, "notes Vitaly Yanitsky.

Market Value Integer. Pl S. A - the company, which includes InPost, is EUR 89.1 million (375.3 million zl).

In December 2016 the company also reported that the InPost mailboxes stop working on the Russian market. The company considered it hopeless to develop business in this country. This year InPost will close in Spain, Malaysia, Norway and Brazil.
