NASA has published a 360-degree mosaic snapshot of the region, which is part of the dunes of Bangold on Mars. As reported on the agency's website, the picture was taken by the rovers Curiosity, who was studying the terrain near the massif from early February to early April of this year.

In the foreground of the image, you can see some parts of the rover and the indigenous rocks of the Murray formation formed by sediments that formed in the lakes billions of years ago. On the north-western slope of Mount Sharp is a place called "Ogunquit beach".
