The US Patent and Trademark Office published information about the new Samsung patent, which describes an unusual smartphone of a cylindrical shape.

The compact device is equipped with an infrared keyboard and an unfolding flexible display. The display smartphone is able to change its form, for which the company plans to use a special alloy with a memory effect.

Another feature of the innovative device should be a virtual keyboard, projected on a flat surface with the help of an infrared emitter. The patent also states that the gadget can be equipped with a 360-degree camera.
