India successfully launched a missile with a communications satellite

The Indian GSLV-F09 booster with GSAT-9 communication satellite, which was named South Asia, successfully launched from the cosmodrome in the south of the country.

The GSLV-F09 (MKII) rocket with a cryogenic stage of its own production successfully started according to the plan in 16. 57 local time (14.

27 in Kiev) from the space center named Satish Dhavana on the island of Shriharikot near the coast of Andhra Pradesh. The launch was the fourth launch of a rocket with the use of a cryogenic stage of Indian production, and the second, when the stage was not involved in the test mode.

In addition to India, the satellite will be used by Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Maldives and Afghanistan.

Earlier it was reported that India had successfully launched the first reusable launch vehicle of its own production.
