When trying to sell via the Internet shoes 18-year-old girl did not notice how she came across scams. And having called them a secret code from their bank card, they lost their funds.
In the Romny police department, an 18-year-old local resident applied to the fraud. The girl explained that she decided to sell her shoes via the Internet. Says, placed an ad on one of the sites, and immediately found a buyer. Under the arrangement, she had to transfer the money, after which she had to send the goods. And the very next day, the so-called representative of the bank called the Romantic woman, who reported that funds could not come to her account. And in order for money to be successfully credited, it is necessary to provide a secret code (CV code), which is on the reverse side of the bank card, after which the attackers devastated the girl's account by 380 UAH.
Now, according to this fact, police officers have already opened criminal proceedings on h. 1 st.
190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Fraud" and do everything possible to establish the identity of intruders. Law enforcers continue to ask citizens to be more circumspect. Do not call your personal information and information on the card to strangers, let alone call secret codes. Remember that you only need to specify the card number to recalculate the money, and if you require additional information, you can be sure, then ordinary scammers, according to the Sumy Oblast Police Communication Department.
