Gigabyte announced a gaming laptop with a frameless display

Company Gigabyte announced a gaming laptop Aero 15, featuring barely noticeable screen frames and a capacious battery.

The thickness of the frame on the sides and top of the display is only 5 mm. The resolution of the screen is either 4K or Full HD, depending on the modification.

The hardware base is the Intel Core i7-7700HQ, which is complemented by up to 16 GB of RAM. For the graphics component meets the video accelerator Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 with 6 GB of memory.

For data storage, a solid state drive of M format is used. The portable PC is powered by a 94Wh battery and is controlled by the Windows 10 operating system.



The technical equipment of the device also included USB 3 connectors. 0 (x3), USB-C with support for Thunderbolt 3, RJ45, HDMI 2. 0, Mini DisplayPort 1. 3, as well as an SD card slot. Separately it is worth noting a fairly compact for this class of laptop charger, a keyboard with adjustable backlight, factory calibration of the screen and a cooling system of two fans.

Gigabyte Aero 15 is available for pre-order. One version - with 16 GB of RAM, a Full HD screen and a 512 GB SSD - costs $ 1,900.
