NASA astronomers managed to detect and remove the so-called cosmic tsunami - a wave that is twice the size of the Milky Way. The wave was found in the Perseus cluster, at a distance of about 240 million light-years from the Earth, a significant part of the matter in it is gaseous.
The tsunami also consists of hot gas, according to the website of the US National Aerospace Agency.
The wave formed several billion years ago, and the gas in it is so hot that it releases radioactive radiation.
A unique phenomenon was taken with the help of the radio telescope Chandra.
Earlier NASA presented an impressive thirty-minute video, which depicts the Sun in Ultra HD format. The video shows activity on the Sun, which is not available for observation without special equipment.
