In its quarterly report, Samsung Electronics made an interesting mention - it confirmed the release of yet another flagship smartphone in the second half of 2017.

Literally stated the following: "the company will continue to make efforts to maintain profitability through strong sales of Galaxy S8 from S8 + and the release of a new flagship smartphone in the second half of the year. "As you can imagine, we are talking about the expected heir of the infamous Galaxy Note 7.

According to earlier rumors, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is equipped with a noticeably larger display than the predecessor - a diagonal of 6.4 inches. The screen is manufactured using Super AMOLED technology, and the resolution is QHD + or 4K. With a discount on the changed proportions, 4K can mean, for example, 4428 x 2160 pixels.

The basis should lie Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processors or proprietary Exynos 9-series, 6 GB of operating and up to 256 GB of internal flash memory.

Galaxy Note 8 will receive a design in the style of Galaxy S8 with very small edges on the top and bottom of the display without the traditional home button under the screen, as well as with a dedicated button for the voice assistant Bixby on the left side, next to the volume controls. In addition, Galaxy Note 8 may be the first Samsung smartphone with a dual camera.
