The start of sales of recovered smartphones Samsung Galaxy Note7 will begin in June. This is reported by ET News with reference to informed sources.

At the end of March, Samsung officially announced that it intends to begin selling a modified version of Galaxy Note 7, the production of which was stopped due to numerous explosions. To minimize the risk of explosions, due to which these gadgets were withdrawn from the market, Samsung upgraded and replaced mobile device batteries. The capacity of the withdrawn variant was 3500 mAh, for new ones it will be 3000 mAh or 3200 mAh.

Galaxy Note 7 went on sale in August 2016 at a price of $ 870. Redesigned models, obviously, should cost less. The source indicates that at the time of release the price of the restored Galaxy Note7 will be about $ 620. For comparison, the new iPhone 7 is for $ 649.

Contrary to earlier information that such devices will appear only in the markets of developing countries, the head of the mobile unit Samsung Koch Dong Jin said that the company is negotiating on this issue with the regulatory authorities of the United States, Canada and other countries.

According to information from open sources, at the disposal of Samsung about 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7.

On a fairly bold move with the return of explosive products the company can go for reasons of economy. Otherwise, Samsung would have to pay a huge penalty for damage to the environment - by decision of the South Korean authorities, the stockpiles of Galaxy Note 7 should be disposed of in accordance with the law.

Recovered Galaxy Note 7 already appeared in the database of the Wi-Fi Alliance organization called Note 7R with several model numbers: SM-N930, SM-N930FD, SM-N930F, SM-N930K, SM-N930L, SM-N930S, SM-N930X And SM-N935S.
