The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is looking for illegal software in the largest gas company PJSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya". This was reported by the press service of the company.

SBU conducts searches on the decision of the Shevchensky district court of the capital: seizes computer equipment from the company's management and servers.

"Representatives of the SBU motivate searches allegedly illegal use of software, which the company officially and legally purchased through the Prozorro system," the press service said..

Recall, the press service of the SBU said that the service conducted searches and seized computer equipment in eight companies that used and implemented "Russian spyware with hidden functions of unauthorized access, including information with limited access".

"Last year, law enforcement officers in the criminal proceedings opened on h. 2 items. 359 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, terminated the activities of a commercial entity that illegally sold Russian software in Ukraine.

During the pre-trial investigation, special services operatives established several companies, companies and companies, whose management deliberately purchased illegal software, "the SBU said..

The SBU noted that during the searches in these companies computer equipment was removed with the aforementioned spyware programs of the RF production installed on them, which, according to experts, refer to special technical means of secretly receiving information.

Earlier today, the SBU conducted searches and seized equipment in the office of the investment company Dragon Capital.
