The alleged innovation of the next generation iPhone can have a negative impact on sales of current models. This conclusion was made by analysts of the consulting agency JPMorgan on the eve of the quarterly report of Apple to investors.

"We're a bit concerned about the demand for the iPhone before launching a new product that is expected by the end of 2017," said Rod Hall, lead analyst at JPMorgan. "In [the new iPhone], we tend to see a limitation of prospects for models that Apple currently supports on the market".

According to Hall's estimates, Apple's corporate revenue will decline, having experienced growth only after the presentation. For this reason, the analyst recommends that you do not delay the release and submit an updated iPhone in the upcoming WWDC conference, which will be held this summer.
