In October, four times are expected magnetic excitations close to the magnetic storm of the first level G1. This is reported with reference to the Laboratory of X-ray Solar Astronomy.

Also three times are expected magnetic storms of G1 level and one magnetic storm of G2 level.

Thus, fluctuations close to the magnetic storm of the first level G1 are expected in Ukraine on October 2, 10, 11, October 18-20. And on October 8, Ukraine will cover a magnetic storm level G2.

According to the standard NOAA scale, G1 storms can affect energy systems - weak fluctuations in energy systems, space vehicles, terrestrial systems and the beginning of animal migration.

Magnetic storms of the second level G2 can lead to weak fluctuations in the energy systems, as well as create small effects on spacecraft control systems. At the same time, auroras can be observed at high latitudes from 60 degrees and above.

Earlier it was reported that in 2018, several dozen magnetic storms are expected on Earth. In particular, at the end of May, our planet was covered by a five-day magnetic storm.
