The cost of medical goods purchased in 2024 through the Prozorro Market electronic catalog amounted to UAH 16.2 billion. This figure is 6.5 times higher than in 2023, when the volume of sales of medical goods through this tool amounted to about UAH 2.5 billion.

Public procurement using an e-catalogue is one of the most comfortable and fastest ways for customers to purchase the medical goods they need.. That is why last year the Government made these purchases mandatory for hospitals and expanded this list this year.

During this period, thanks to the high level of competition in the e-catalogue, customers managed to save an average of 16% of the expected cost.

Namely, over 2.7 billion UAH - savings have been achieved, which hospitals can use to increase wages for employees, additional purchases, etc..

In addition, the success of the procedures, that is, the percentage of closing transactions in the e-catalogue during this period was 81% versus 75% in open tenders, and the average duration of the procedure was 8 days versus 20 in open tenders.

In addition, in 2024, the number of customers increased to 2,739 and qualified suppliers to 1,187, offering their medical products in the catalog.
