US scientists say that in order to reduce stress from a smartphone, it is necessary to control the number of notifications received, as they make people very nervous.

American psychologists have found that the abundance of alerts makes people feel unhappy and lonely.. During the study, the experts took three groups of volunteers, and each of the participants received daily from 65 to 80 notifications from applications. In the first group, volunteers responded to each notification, in the second - three times a day, and in the third did not check them at all.

So scientists have determined that each viewed notification unsettles the user for about 25 minutes, which are spent thinking about whether to interrupt their activity for the sake of the phone or not..



Turning them off completely also does not save the situation, because a person begins to worry that he might miss something incredibly important, and therefore they get into the smartphone more often..

In this regard, psychologists advise receiving notifications only three times a day.. This will help a person to maintain a sense of happiness, work more productively, better focus on work, and least of all put themselves under stress..
