In Kiev, 5779 confirmed cases of COVID-19

Over the past day 114 cases of COVID-19 were recorded. The mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko said this during an online press conference.

Klitschko said that in total in Kiev there are already 5779 confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The mayor said that among the sick 46 women aged 22 to 84 years and three girls from 4 to 13 years old, as well as 61 men aged 18 to 75 years and four boys from two months to 13 years.



21 patients were hospitalized in Kiev hospitals, the rest are treated for self-isolation under the supervision of medical personnel.

52 people recovered over the past day. Coronavirus overcame 1900 residents of Kiev.

In Ukraine, as of July 8, 9 regions are not ready to move on to the next stages of quarantine weakening. These regions do not meet the necessary criteria for easing anti-epidemic measures.
