1976 medical workers fell ill at COVID-19 in Ukraine, most of all in the Chernivtsi region - 264 people.

This was reported on Facebook by the Public Health Center..

However, in relation to the total number of patients in the region, the leaders are Kirovograd (36%), Vinnitsa (33%) and Volyn and Poltava (28% each), "

Among the causes of COVID-19 disease among healthcare providers may include:.

lack of a clear action plan for a medical institution;

violation of a specific patient route and patient management standards;

Insufficient provision of medical personnel with necessary PPE;

improper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), their storage and disposal.
