Infectious hospitals and departments as part of the reform of the healthcare system will be funded through an emergency response system, said Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.

" Today we have found a solution how to finance the system of providing medical care to infectious patients. It will be financed, inter alia, by financing the response preparedness system (for emergency situations), because we know that infectious patients are not a stable number of cases over a certain period. We must maintain a system of this readiness in order to be ready to respond in any case, "

The deputy minister also said that trainings in infectious hospitals and departments are continuing in the regions.
