Scientists from the Southwestern Medical Center at the University of Texas at Dallas concluded that excessive “eating” of toothpaste can lead to the accumulation of certain substances in the body that lead to a breakdown of the nervous system.
Very important for the functioning of the human nervous system, according to scientists, is the correct balance of copper and zinc in the blood. With a violation of the proportions in humans, various types of neurological diseases appear.
Scientists claim that imbalance can occur in people who use toothpaste too often and in large quantities.. They came to this conclusion by observing four patients suffering from neurological disorders.
The subjects had a lower copper content in the blood and a very high amount of zinc. Moreover, zinc is a component of a large number of toothpastes, and all subjects used more than two tubes of paste per week. It was after this that the experts associated brain disorders with the use of toothpaste.
According to experts, a person should miss one tube of toothpaste for about two months. And she shouldn’t be abused too much.
