Western experts have found that vegan and vegetarian diets significantly increase the risk of stroke.

The authors of the work themselves say that such an increase in the risk of stroke may be due to a lack of certain vitamins and minerals that vegetarians will not receive during their “diet”.

In a unique experiment, meat-eaters took part, pesketarians are people who do not eat meat, but welcome fish, vegetarians and vegans in the diet, who had no problems with their heart and blood vessels before the study..

This helped to establish that people who do not consume animal protein have less risk of developing cardiovascular disease.. But at the same time, they often became victims of a stroke.

It turned out that during the study, among 48,000 respondents to the experiment, 2820 people were diagnosed with heart disease and in 1072 cases - strokes. Scientists believe a heart attack is linked to a lack of vitamins experienced by vegans and vegetarians.
