Myth: People who have mental disorders are "psychos", they need to be isolated from society. True: In most cases, the behavior of people with psychological disorders is not much different from the generally accepted.
According to studies, at any time on the planet, 1 in 10 suffers from depression or anxiety disorder, and every hundredth is sick with schizophrenia.
Myth: Mental disorders do not occur in children and adolescents. All the signs that they can have are only "the characteristics of age, they will outgrow". True: At least one child out of five periodically has mental health problems. 70-75% of mental disorders begin in childhood or adolescence - depression, anxiety disorders, eating disorders and the like.
