Can I remain cross-eyed after fright?

Sell ??or harsh truth?.

In childhood, while we were fooling around and making faces, mothers tried to appeal to the voice of our mind. Parents said: "Do not squint your eyes, suddenly someone will come up and scare you or hit you on the head? So you'll spend all your life afterwards with eyes in a pile!".

So what was it: a bitter experience from life or an alternative version of the phrase "behave yourself"? We understand together.

In fact, mowing the eye and shifting it to the center is not dangerous, but you can feel a slight physical discomfort. This is due to the strong tension of the eye muscle. Sooner or later the eyes will "get tired" and the eyeball will necessarily return to the position convenient for him.

If, at the moment when a person fools around and mows a look, comes up and scares him, then it will affect the sight with a very small chance. A fight is not worth it at all. But if a person at a time, while he mows the look, still feel a blow to the head, the outcome will depend on the strength of the damage.

There will not be anything from an accidental "sniban", but a truly painful blow by something weighty can lead to even more severe consequences than strabismus.

We do not recommend to check on ourselves.
