American scientists from the organization Arthritis Care & Research have concluded that eating fish twice a week helps alleviate the symptoms of arthritis or prevent the onset of this disease. Such conclusions were drawn during the study of 176 people.

For the study, fish with the highest fatty acids Omega-3 - tuna, salmon, sardines, trout, halibut, perch and flounder. Participants used baked, grilled or raw fish (in the form of sushi and sashimi).

Fried fish were not included in the study, since the preparation of fish in this way reduces the content of Omega-3 fatty acids in it. The results showed that eating fish can reduce inflammation associated with arthritis, with the more fish eaten by people, the higher the anti-inflammatory effect.
