Scientists said that the most likely cause of infertility in women is polycystic ovary syndrome. Recently, doctors found that the ailment is developing because of hormonal imbalance.

The above syndrome is characterized by an increase in testosterone or cystic ovarian formation. Do not exclude jumps of menstrual cycles. Recently, scientists have discovered that the disease develops before the birth of a person, when the fetus is in the womb.

The study was conducted in mice.

To test their hypotheses, scientists injected an excessive amount of AMG into the body of a pregnant female. As they grew older in the female part of the offspring, specialists began to notice signs of disease. In particular, sexual maturation was observed, absence of ovulation and so on.

Apparently, an excessive dose of testosterone does affect the offspring. This is due to the increased stimulation of a group of central nervous system cells that raise the hormone.
