Knee osteoarthritis is a degenerative disease that manifests itself in the defeat of all joint structures, leads to deformation and, ultimately, to loss of mobility in the knee.
Specialists conducted a study involving at least 30 people. The treatment included injections of cortisone enriched with platelets of plasma, hyaluronic acid, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, including diclofenac, paracetamol, ibuprofen.
It was found that cortisone injections were best used to relieve short-term pain. Further on, the list of efficacy was followed by ibuprofen and injections of plasma enriched with platelets.
