4 essential oils that help lose weight

No one will argue with the fact that in the fight against excess weight, diet and exercise are a priority. However, inhaling some essential oils or mixing them with water and food has a positive effect on metabolism, as some studies have shown.

Lime oil. Published in Phytotherapy Research in 2010, a study showed that lime essential oil contributes to the loss of excess weight and protects against unwanted kilograms arising from the effects of certain drugs. You can add two or three drops of lime oil to salads or use it with regular cooking.

Mint oil. The simple inhalation of this essential oil is already conducive to better digestion and to fighting unwanted starvation spasms. Studies have also shown that adding two drops of oil to a liter of water helps athletes demonstrate more impressive performance in competitions, as this improves lung function.

Grapefruit oil. Another essential oil that helps to lose excess weight and reduce appetite is simply due to inhalation several times a day.

Published in the journal Neuroscience Letters in 2005, a study showed that a component of grapefruit oil limonene helps in reducing excess weight.

Cardamom oil. Add two or three drops of cardamom oil to your food every day, and this will help strengthen digestion, as well as preventing bloating and any other gastrointestinal disorders. The big plus of all these essential oils is that they do not have any side effects, unless a person has any allergies to individual components.
