Vaccination is not done if there is a high risk of a serious reaction, and under conditions when an immune response to the vaccine introduced does not form:.

- Acute illness, accompanied by a temperature above 38.5 ° C;.

- a serious allergic reaction (anaphylactic shock) to the previous dose of the vaccine, an allergic reaction to one of the vaccine components is known (for example, gelatin, neomycin, chicken protein, and t. );.

- diseases and conditions of the body, in which after the introduction of the vaccine, immunity may not form (for example, under conditions of chemotherapy in cancer patients, when using large doses of steroid hormones, when using drugs that suppress immunity, in AIDS);.

- pregnancy. The vaccine is not vaccinated for pregnant women, because it contains live viruses.

Vaccination against measles should be done at the stage of pregnancy planning.

In the case of temporary contraindications to vaccination, the child receives a so-called medotvod from vaccinations. Contraindications for a longer period of time than two weeks can only be determined by an immunological commission, which is usually collected at a district hospital or a city / regional polyclinic. Then the vaccinations missed on the calendar should be made up.
