Lovely ladies! About miraculous pills, diets, gymnastics and disposable methods of a happy and painless disposal of cellulite "once and for all" is better to forget, and also - once and for all. Do not fool yourself with illusions: such magic cures of cellulite can not in principle exist. Why - you will learn from the following scientific calculations. Even radical surgical intervention - liposuction - does not guarantee that cellulite will not develop and progress in neighboring areas where fat cells have not been destroyed. But the complex long-term therapeutic programs for the treatment of cellulite, based on scientific developments (including, among others, pills, diets, gymnastics) proved to be effective: they effectively eliminate pits and bumps on the skin and help to correct the figure as a whole. The purpose of this article is to give a popular review of therapeutic methods and programs for the treatment of severe cellulitis III-VI stages.

WHAT LIES IN THE BASIS OF THERAPEUTIC METHODS In order to understand what mechanisms are involved in the treatment of cellulite, we will consider what events occur at the cellular-molecular level, why they lead to the development of cellulite and how can these processes be "reversed" and used in combating cellulite.

The basis of the development of cellulite (the correct medical name of which is lipodystrophy) is the accumulation of lipids (fats) by fat cells (adipocytes) in certain areas of the body and in a certain layer of skin - the hypodermis, also called subcutaneous adipose tissue. The hypoderm is a layer of skin following the epidermis (the uppermost layer), the basal membrane and the dermis. Cellulite begins with a disturbance in the balance between lipogenesis (lipid synthesis) and lipolysis (lipid digestion) in hypodermic adipocytes. The term "hypertrophy of adipocytes" means an increase in the size of adipocytes and the content of lipids in them. In cellulite, unlike obesity, fat accumulates unevenly in certain groups of adipocytes. That's why cellulite is often found in skinny, and not always at full. Cellulite changes occur not only in the work of adipocytes, but also in the activity of other hypodermal cells - fibroblasts:

simultaneously with the accumulation of fat, there is an intensive synthesis of collagen and growth and consolidation of fibrous tissue - connective tissue septa - which are no longer demarcated, but directly squeezed lobules fatty tissue: dense "tight" fat capsules are formed. Part of the hypertrophied adipose lobules protrude into the dermis, lifts the basal membrane and epidermis - and as a result, the skin surface acquires a characteristic relief of the orange peel.
