One of the policemen who suffered during the explosion of a grenade in the Dnieper had to amputate a leg.
This was broadcast on the TV channel "112 Ukraine" chief doctor of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Hospital. Mechnikov Sergey Ryzhenko.
According to the doctor, a member of the National Police was taken to the hospital in extremely serious condition.
"Doctors of the ambulance promptly helped and prevented a large bleeding from the wound of the 40-year-old Sergei. He was completely shattered by the bones of his feet, legs. After the consultation at 2:00 we went to an amputation to save the life of the policeman, "- said Ryzhenko.
After the operation, the policeman was transferred to intensive care unit.
He breathes on his own and within 24 hours he can be transferred to the trauma department.
On the condition of the other victims of the explosion policemen Ryzhenko did not say anything, since he does not have this information. According to Zoryan Shkiryak, the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the life of the policemen is not threatened.
