Excessive thinness shortens life on average by 8 years, Norwegian scientists say.

For ten years, Norwegian scientists have conducted a study in which they studied the effect of a sharp weight loss on health. The results of the study showed that 90% of cases of excessive leanness take eight years of life. According to the researchers, people who are inclined to fullness, like to eat and hate weighing, lose only four years of life. Comparisons are conducted with people whose weight is normal.

Unfortunately, those who suffer from excess weight and are too thin, have various health problems, say researchers. Full people often suffer from diabetes mellitus, hypertension, atherosclerosis, joint diseases. Too thin (especially those who abruptly lose weight) are susceptible to malignant neoplasms, cardiovascular diseases, heart attack and stroke, they often have depression.

All this once again proves that in food one must know the measure, experts say.
