But the baby needs it so much. What to do? I acted very simply - I combined household chores with games for the kid.
Almost always it turned out very fun and everyone was happy.
Option 1. We wash and weave clothes.
To the great happiness, with the appearance of automatic washing machines in our homes, the time for washing started to go down by 90%. However, in order to load the machine, then unload the clothes from it and hang it too, you need time. In this situation, I was very much helped by ordinary clothespins.
I put the baby in a plastic basin, and gave him clothespins together with a small bucket. Immediately he put clothespins in a bucket, then took it out, then he took on clothespins on the edges of the bucket and on his handle. When the fantasy was exhausted, he crawled out of the basin and clung clothespins to everything that would fall on his way. As a rule, by this time the clothes were hung up, and we proceeded to the next lesson.
Option 2. Cooking breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
The kitchen is simply an unlimited field for the activity of a small school student. First of all, the child opened a cupboard with pots and shifted them with a characteristic rumbling, getting from this exercise a lot of fun.
When he was bored with pots, I poured a mat on the floor, put the baby on him and gave him a few bowls of cereals: buckwheat, rice and t. , as well as a couple of empty containers. In addition, you can give the child found on a walk chestnuts, or acorns, as well as a sieve and spoons, which the crumb necessarily find use. As my practice shows, less than 20 - 30 minutes, usually we never took this lesson.
Option 3. Cleaning of the apartment.
This, of course, is quite problematic, since order and a small child are two diametrically opposite things. But still, you need to clean, moreover, often it has to be done together with the baby. When my child was less than a year, we practiced this option: I put him in a riding school, and gave him an empty five-liter open bottle, and to her in addition a lot of clothespins, pencils and t. (most importantly, in order to size anything of this crumb could not swallow).
The child I have for 10-15 minutes with great diligence tried to put all these items in the bottle.
During this time, I just had time to vacuum, or wash the floor. When this bothered, I could give him in the arena other "unusual" toys, that is, what he usually does not allow to play, such as: the remote from the TV, the mobile phone, and t. Perhaps this is not very pedagogical, but it literally saved me.
