In the summer we often eat various seafood - fish, crabs, mussels, shrimps and many others - the season after all.
If you do not have allergies to squirrel fish and other protein seafood, then the seafood will really help you. It is thanks to them that the inhabitants of maritime countries, such as Japan and Italy, are less likely to suffer from cardiovascular diseases, obesity and thyroid dysfunction, feel more energetic and live longer than those who eat this food rarely. What makes seafood so effective? This was told us by a dietician, gastroenterologist of the Ukrainian Research Institute of Nutrition Alexander Martynchuk, Ph.D. in Medicine.
When compared to animal meat, seafood and fish are easily digestible protein. It is easy to digest because, firstly, in the muscle tissue of fish, shrimp, crabs and other inhabitants of the sea depth, the amount of connective tissue that delays the digestion of protein is about 5 times less than in meat. Secondly, due to the fact that their muscles almost do not contain fat (fat, as is known, also adds a load to the digestive glands). That is, you will never feel heaviness in the stomach if you eat a portion of, say, fish. Thanks to this, seafood is an indispensable food for those who want to feel themselves in tonus without interruptions for an after-dinner sleep and t. In addition, the fish protein has all the vital (t. irreplaceable) amino acids. The absence of any of these in the food product can lead to growth retardation, weight loss, the development of anemia, atherosclerosis, immunodeficiency, neurosis, depression, insomnia, accelerated skin aging and other health problems.
In fish and other seafood is easy not only protein, but also fat. There it is less than meat. For example, in carp, cod, heke it 3-6% (for comparison, in meat fat about 18%), which makes this dietary food. And the fat that is, is a pure medicine. Surely many of them took in childhood. Fish oil replenishes the stores of vitamin D, necessary for the full assimilation of calcium and phosphorus. Of these micronutrients, bones, cartilage and other connective tissue of growing organisms. In addition, phosphorus, which seafood is also very rich, participates in the metabolism in the nervous tissue, with its lack of nutrition, the person becomes irritable, he is worried by the trembling and numbness of the skin. But no less than children, cod liver oil is useful for elderly people due to the fact that it (namely, its component such as polyunsaturated fatty acids) has a wonderful property to prevent the deposition of cholesterol on the walls of blood vessels, and therefore to prevent the development of t. diseases of old age - atherosclerosis. Therefore, fish and other seafood should be included in the diet of everyone over 40 - it is from this age that people begin to appear the first plaques in the vessels.
And in seafood, and not only protein - fish, shrimp, mussels, but in all (for example, in sea kale), there is a scarce microelement of iodine. And in the most easy for assimilation form - organic (in contrast to inorganic iodine, for the assimilation of which from salt and tablets the body needs to spend strength). If this micronutrient enters the body in insufficient quantities, a person experiences increased fatigue (often for the manifestation of iodine deficiency they take a syndrome of chronic fatigue, the cause of which is mainly in weak immunity), begins to suffer from a slow-wittedness - for example, reads a page of the text and catches himself thinking that for 10 minutes can not "enter", what is written there. But the most unpleasant consequences of iodine deficiency threaten pregnant women. Mom, who during the first three months after conception consumed little iodine, risks getting a child with congenital cretinism (this is not an insult, but a diagnosis). And several dozen such children are born every year in Ukraine. And to cure such a child is no longer possible. In addition, iodine deficiency can lead to such congenital diseases as deaf-mute and strabismus.
AND NOT ONLY. In addition, in seafood and fish, many of these deficient trace elements, such as copper and zinc. Each of them activates about a hundred of enzymatic reactions.
For example, the assimilation of protein, the construction of sex cells and immune cells, hormones. Therefore, seafood will be useful to everyone as a restorative means. And now - about how much they need to eat in order to support all of the above effects. WHO experts argue that in order to maximize the benefits of seafood, they need to eat about 150 g 2-3 times a week. So one fishing day per week will be small - arrange it several times in 7 days.
