A high level of breast disease is one of the main causes that significantly affect the health status of women.

Despite the progress in treatment and improvement of the quality of diagnosis of this pathology, mortality from breast cancer remains high. This is due, first of all, to the late diagnosis of this pathology due to untimely treatment of patients, as well as the lack of highly sensitive methods for establishing early (preclinical) stages of breast cancer, insufficiently accurate diagnosis of metastases in regional lymph nodes.

In the Russian Federation, breast cancer ranks first in terms of morbidity rate (19.8%) and mortality (17.4%) among all malignant neoplasms in women aged 15-69 years.
