If you are on a diet, it is worth adding a daily glass of milk to the diet - Israeli scientists have found that milk helps to lose excess weight.

Their study was published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition (USA). Adults who drank two or more glasses of milk a day had the highest levels of vitamin D for 6 months and lost more weight after two years of observation than those who drink little milk or do not consume dairy products. It is also estimated that additional half cups of milk lead to weight loss of 4.5 kilograms on average for six months. The experiment involved 300 people aged 40-65 years.

Regardless of the diet, volunteers with the highest intake of dairy products / on average about 580 mg per day or nearly two glasses of milk / lost about 6 kilograms of excess body weight at the end of biennial observations. The level of vitamin D had an independent effect on the success of losing weight.

It is vitamin D in milk, according to physiotherapists, plays a major role in effective weight loss. Doctors say that its positive properties are manifested not only in strengthening the bones, but also in protecting against diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, certain cancers and maintaining a healthy immune system. Dietitians advise every day to drink three glasses of skim milk and actively engage in sports in order to achieve a normal weight.
