People with signs of chronic insomnia, narcolepsy and daytime sleepiness are malnourished and have a habit of overeating, and these symptoms eventually acquire a clinical character, according to Dutch scientists.

According to scientists, many patients with sleep disorders have a diet and an irresistible desire for gluttony. They studied the diet and sleep in 180 people.

It turned out that difficulties with falling asleep, frequent awakening at night and daily fatigue are directly related to the rapid increase in body weight, as a person feels a constant uncontrolled appetite.

However, experts emphasize, overeating is obviously not the direct cause of obesity in sleep disorders, because they believe that metabolic changes are involved in this process. In addition, violations of the nervous function force people not only to lose their sense of cheerfulness, but also destabilize their diet.
