This can spoil the worldview of any person, to bring inconvenience in communication, to disrupt business negotiations and even damage intimate affairs. A terrible smell from the mouth, like nothing else, is capable of alienating, provoking disgust, provoking rudeness. And even if it is not so terrible and fetid, but only slightly catchy, it can already cause discomfort, both among those around and the poorest person suffering from halitosis - such is the scientific title of this phenomenon.

This can spoil the worldview of any person, to bring inconvenience in communication, to disrupt business negotiations and even damage intimate affairs. A terrible smell from the mouth, like nothing else, is capable of alienating, provoking disgust, provoking rudeness. And even if he is not so terrible and fetid, but only a tiny bit, he can already cause discomfort, both among those around him and the poorest himself, suffering from halitosis - such is the scientific title of this phenomenon. Halitosis can occur in a person episodically, and can persistently pursue it, and the premise of flavor from the mouth can also be different. But whatever the prerequisites and manifestations, every man desires to get rid of the smelly breath, if he, of course, has not yet given up on himself with a whole hand.

The most trivial and common preconditions of the aroma from the mouth are very familiar to dentists. This is a bad, incorrect, missing and irregular hygiene of the oral cavity. In the mouth of a person, "nest" hordes of microbes - they are the ones that produce gas with such a corresponding odor. Even constant cleaning of teeth can not free a person from microbes absolutely, if he does not use a dental floss and treats such an important component, as cleaning the tongue. Bacteria - they are also microscopic, they do not need a lot of space, because they fit perfectly and in great numbers between teeth and on the tongue, live there, multiply and, sorry,. Plus, periodontal diseases (in other words, gum disease) also significantly spoil the smell from the mouth. What to do in such cases, for sure, of course - often visit the dentist, cure teeth and gums and painstakingly watch the hygiene of the mouth. After all, all these chewing gums, candies and breath fresheners are just a disguise, but not a cure.

The fact that smelly breath causes tobacco and alcohol - of course, and some features of nutrition, too, can completely be a prerequisite of halitosis. Such products as onions and garlic, cheese, eggs, smoked meat, cabbage and some others can spoil your breath for up to 3 days! It is manifested when the product interacts with gastric and digestive enzymes. But it is even more fascinating that the lack of food can also cause a far from unique inimitable smell, released in the process of the organism's operation of accumulated fats as an energy source. It leads to halitosis and dehydration of the body.

Many prerequisites of aroma from the mouth are associated with various diseases of the body. The same process of processing of fats, causing a corresponding smell, "turns on" not only when fasting, but also with sweet diabetes. Acquired kidney deficiency violates the acid-base balance, which also becomes a prerequisite of stench. At such stages of stomach cancer or the food tract, when the tumor tissues begin to disintegrate, there is also a pronounced rotten smell, although in this case it is perhaps the smallest of all evils. From time to time a stink from his mouth can even lead a doctor to make the correct diagnosis - as happens, for example, with a lung abscess. Symptoms of this purulent inflammation are similar to signs of sore throat or flu, and a sharp and nasty smell can "give out" an abscess. Of course, you can not name the utility of halitosis, there is simply such a feature.

The list of diseases in which a smell is observed to some extent, is quite wide: respiratory tract infections, acquired inflammatory diseases of the nasopharynx, liver deficiency, gastrointestinal tract diseases, renal scarcity.

So, unless you are full of garlic or some especially "odorous" roquefort, a bad smell can be a signal to visit a doctor. And to start, at least according to the theory of probability, is all the same with a dentist.

Whatever the background of the aroma from the mouth, it is worthwhile to find them and eradicate them, without delaying. After all, even if this "trifle" does not indicate a severe disease, it definitely destroys your diligently created style of a civilized person.
