British scientists have conducted a study in which people with excess weight. It turned out that a protein-rich diet causes certain changes in the intestines that can cause colon cancer.
Specialists observed people who adhere to different diets, and concluded that the protein diet helps to increase the level of certain substances (N-nitroso compounds) in the body that are associated with the occurrence of cancer, as well as reducing the level of compounds that protect against the appearance of cancer tumors.
Experts advise not to eat too much protein food and not to exclude from your diet carbohydrates and fiber. For the health of the intestine, an adult needs about 28 grams of fiber daily.
