This year, 12 children went to the city of Ibbs: 10 from Kharkov and two from the region.

During their stay in Austria, they will be additionally examined at St. Anna's Hospital in Vienna, will receive counseling from doctors. Supportive therapy will be continued at the expense of the host.

As part of the trip, children will also visit excursions and get acquainted with the historical and architectural monuments of Austria.

The doctors-hematologists of the Kharkov City Clinical Children's Hospital # 16 accompany the children during rest and recovery. In Kharkov, children will return in early July.

It should be noted that the health improvement in Austria of children with cancer of the blood is carried out annually, beginning in 1996, within the framework of the international cooperation program between the Kharkov City Council and the Austrian environmental organization "GLOBAL-2000". Over the period of cooperation, their health in Austria corrected about 400 children.
