The diet was developed by American nutritionists Rachel and Richard Heller and is called a diet for sweet tooth.
It is based on the gradual extinction of cravings for carbohydrates, including sweet. Any "snacks" between the main meals are prohibited, only drinking simple or mineral water is permissible. Duration of the diet is 1 week, but in principle it may not be limited to any terms.
The principle of the diet is this: during the day, three complete meals are allowed. But two of them are built on the use of low-calorie products (low-fat meat, fish, vegetables, dairy products). It is supposed, that thus the release of insulin decreases and the sensation of hunger is dulled.
In the third meal, everything is allowed, but, since the craving for food is reduced (according to the authors), the consumption of high-calorie food will also be significantly lower than in the ordinary way of life. Any "snacks" between the main meals are prohibited, only drinking simple or mineral water is permissible.
Sample menu for the first two meals:.
Breakfast - kefir (1 glass), fruit salad (apple, mandarin, kiwi).
Lunch - fish broth with Brussels sprouts (200 g), boiled chicken breast (150 g) with stewed vegetables (300 g), natural yogurt without additives (1 cup) health. Sumy. Ua.
