So, the ideal option - the position on the back. It helps prevent pain in the neck and back, reduces acid reflux and reduces wrinkles. True, people who snore and suffer from sleep apnea may not appreciate this situation. But people with neck pain should use a roller or a pillow to support the neck.

Next on the list is the position of the body on its side. So, too, you can protect yourself from back pain (doctors advise you to put a pillow under your knees to relieve the lumbar region), while coping with snoring. And pregnant women are advised to sleep on their left side.

In this position, the blood flows normally to the fetus. True, then the shoulders and neck suffer. So do not forget about stretching.

Plus, the appearance of wrinkles on the side of the face that comes in contact with the pillow, and the sagging of the chest. But the worst thing to do is to sleep on your stomach. In addition to wrinkles, you can easily get a neck and back injury, because the spine does not straighten, the back and joints do not rest, nerves are pinched.
