People who get up early in the morning usually have a good figure, they are happier and have fewer health problems, which is not the case with those who like to lie around for longer, scientists. They say: the one who gets up early, quickly performs morning chores around the house, earlier collects children to school and leaves for work, writes The Telegraph.

But people who get up late, run the risk of feeling depressed, suffering from stress and excess weight. These findings were made on the basis of an online survey of 1068 people. They were asked how happy and anxious they were. Researchers were also interested in their physical health, diet and sleep.

It turned out that lovers to get up early were already awake around 7 am, and "people of the evening" waited until the clock showed 8:54. As for the weekend, both groups preferred to sleep off. But the "larks" got up at 7:47, and the "owls" - around 10 am.

As a result, the analysis of the collected information showed that the first group had more positive indications.

According to Dr. Jorg Huber of the University of Roehampton, "Lark" is easier to adjust to the crazy pace of life. In the end, they have not so many health problems and less body weight. By the way, scientists also found out that people who watch TV for a long time often skip breakfast, because they snack in the evening while watching TV and in the morning they simply do not want to eat.
