The diet of Kim Protasov is good already if only by the fact that it was made by a professional dietician. And, judging by how much she had fans, it's quite effective. That, however, does not cancel the need for prior consultation with a doctor for those who want.

First, it is fairly balanced. Protasov does not exclude the use of fats, necessary for the body, but limits them to 40 g per day. Of course, this is also half the norm, but the diet is not designed for permanent use.

Secondly, from vegetables, the body receives the necessary trace elements, mineral salts, other useful substances, fiber, which, among other things, positively affects the healthy functioning of the intestine (and this is the key to success in the difficult matter of losing weight).

Thirdly, meat and fish introduced from the third week give the body a sufficient number of animal fats and proteins.

Fourth, dairy products and eggs give our body useful proteins, and in low-fat dairy products they are combined with calcium and lactose, which, according to the latest scientific data, not only contribute to the oxidation of fats, but the generation of energy from them.

Fifth, in fact, the diet of Kim Protasov takes the best of nutrition from the hypoglycemic index, suggesting the use of the right carbohydrates. Moreover, according to other nutritionists, this combination of products unloads the pancreas and programs it (and the whole body) to eat foods, discouraging the harsh sweet: sweets, buns and cakes.

Sixth, with this diet, it is almost impossible to remain hungry. And, as is known, the body frightened by a hungry state tries subsequently to make large reserves (why they suffer a fiasco of scant mono-diets).

What problems can arise when applying Protasov's diet?.

The first. Aversion to vegetables. Fight this can only variety of the same vegetables. Of course, if there is only day-to-day white cabbage with cucumbers, you can hardly endure five weeks. And if you remember that there are many kinds of cabbage (red, colored, Brussels, kohlrabi, broccoli, savoy, Chinese), and besides cabbage, Mother Nature provides enough vegetables, then you can sustain. Carrots, green beans, lettuce, pumpkin, tomatoes, celery, greens provide complete freedom of action regarding the menu.

The second. Five-percent yoghurts and cheeses are not sold everywhere. The use of sweet yogurts and fatty cheeses is strictly forbidden. Of cheese, of course, do not remove. And, having found such a reserved place where the cheese is found, make it your main store for 5 weeks. Yogurt can also replace kefir with a fat content of 2.5 (or less) percent. It is not appropriate to abuse milk, these products serve only as a necessary and sufficient addition to the prescribed vegetables.

The third. Sharp transition to the usual - not very correct - nutrition will reduce all the results of the diet to no.

Therefore, to leave the diet should be cautious, trying not to return to simple carbohydrates, large consumption of sugar and fatty foods. First of all, you need to introduce porridge, vegetable oil, nuts and fruits, in addition to apples, but all in reasonable quantities.
