American doctors have proposed a new method for eliminating scars formed as a result of acne on the face. According to preliminary data, its effectiveness is about 60%.

The method developed by specialists from the medical center "DermSurgery" is based on the use of a low-power laser. Irradiation of the affected skin does not cause the evaporation of tissues, which is observed under the action of conventional medical lasers, and the acceleration of the formation of collagen and elastin - proteins necessary to maintain normal skin elasticity.

As a result, the skin surface is gradually smoothed out, and spoiling scars from healed acne completely disappear.

In order to achieve more or less permanent results, it is necessary to pass from 4 to 6 sessions of "laser therapy". Each of them takes only 15 minutes, and a few minutes after the session, the patient can return to work or personal matters. The only significant drawback of the method is its relatively high cost - for one procedure the patient will have to pay from 400 to 600 dollars.
