Vacuum aspiration of local fat deposits is the most popular and effective technique. Its essence lies in the fact that a small tube (less than 1.5 cm) is inserted into the subcutaneous space with a tube (cannula) with several or one apertures at the end. The size of the cut, the diameter and shape of the tube depend on the individual technique of the surgeon and the planned volume of fat removed. Mechanical destruction and removal of fatty tissues is carried out with the help of a special vacuum apparatus. During and after the procedure, there is no severe bleeding, no damage to the connective tissue and nerve endings. The probability of hematoma and bruising is reduced to zero.

The duration of liposuction is from 30 minutes to one and a half hours (depending on the volume). Seams are removed one week after surgery. After liposuction, you can go home on the day of surgery or the next day. Renewal of the patient's normal activity is possible in 3 days - 2 weeks. The duration of the rehabilitation period averages two to three weeks, but depends, first of all, on the individual characteristics of the patient.

The patient in the first days after the operation can be observed small swelling, fever, discomfort and pain. With the purpose of fast restoration of working capacity the doctor appoints a course of physiotherapeutic procedures. It is mandatory to wear special linen or an elastic bandage, since there is an excess of skin tissue, which in due course should be reduced to the desired size. In the area of ??the operation, various seals are sometimes formed, which decrease gradually and disappear completely after 1-2 months. To start sports and serious physical activity can not be earlier than a month after surgery.

The main complications after liposuction are:.

- Disturbance of skin sensitivity.

- Appearance of contour irregularities due to uneven removal of adipose tissue.

- Violation of the outflow of blood or serous fluid, which leads to the appearance of significant edema, bruising or somoma. These complications can occur with a traumatic operation, large amounts of stored fat, or with excessive physical activity of the patient during the rehabilitation period.
